Time is sure flying by! I can’t believe I’ve been teaching with Qkids for FOUR months now! You know that statement “time flies when you’re having fun!”…It is so true in this case. I’m going to say it again…Qkids is awesome!

Month 4 is in the books and I would like to share what I’ve learned. If you’re curious to know what I wrote about for month 2 and 3, I will leave the links below OR you can look through my page. I have a couple of Qkids related blog entries that may be helpful to you too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just when you think you know everything, you find out you don’t! LOL! For me, I learned the following in Month 4:

  1. Standbys that do not convert count towards the attendance bonus!!! So if you were scheduled for 13 classes and 2 standbys [15 total] , and those standbys don’t convert (meaning change to regular classes), you get the extra $1 for those! Cool, right?! I was pretty stoked about that. This is new to me because I only started the 15 classes/week for the summer rush. ***Remember, to qualify for the attendance bonus, you must have taught and/or be scheduled for 15 or more classes. If you have 1 “no show” absence or cancel more than 3 classes within the 5 hour window, you will not be eligible for the bonus.
  2. Schedules– schedules (for the summer months anyway) are not finalized until Sunday morning. If on Sunday, you check your schedule and you notice that you have open slots, you can message CCT via the app letting them know that you’re available and would like to teach. They will let you know if their in need, if not, you may receive invites to teach those open slots the night before or day of.
  3. If you want to teach classes that are not a part of your submitted availability to Qkids, you can always message CCT via the app and let them know you’re available to teach and make sure to give specific dates/times. They may or may not add classes for you depending on their need at that time.
  4. Referrals– if you have any referrals who were not able to enter your code during the initial application or possibly during the demo interviews, Qkids may not be able to add them later. This is just a FYI and from my experience. If you had a different experience, I would love to know. ๐Ÿ™‚
